Patient Experience
Facing a cancer diagnosis comes with many challenges. For those patients who are living in rural Alberta or in a marginalized community, navigating a complex health care system adds a new layer of difficulty. Many patients also face significant financial pressure during their cancer journey.
Fortunately, the Alberta Cancer Foundation’s Patient Financial Assistance Program, Patient Navigation Programs and Mobile Breast Screening Units are there to help.

The only way to bring the treatments of tomorrow to those facing cancer today is through leading-edge research and clinical trials. Luckily, when it comes to clinical trials, Alberta is leading the way in Canada and these trials are shaping the standard of care for cancer treatment in the future.

As the fundraising partner for every Alberta Health Services cancer centre across the province, we support improvements at each centre to ensure Albertans facing cancer can receive the best treatment and care, close to home.
